Batch No. 1
This weekend I start something I've been circling for a while: my first batch of mead. One gallon, good honey, a hydrometer I barely know how to read yet, and a kitchen that's about to smell like a medieval tavern.
I'll be writing the whole thing down as it happens — the numbers, the photos, the mistakes I'll wish I hadn't documented. If it turns out well, you'll get the recipe. If it doesn't, you'll get the better story.
